Haier HVAC - Fina 2022

Haier HVAC Solutions Sponsor 19th Fina World Championships Budapest 2022

Haier HVAC Solutions are sponsoring the 19th FINA World Championships Budapest 2022 for swimming, artistic swimming, open water swimming, diving and water polo. Tens of thousands of tickets have been sold already for the championships taking place in Hungary, from June 18 to July 3, and these key events in the pool and open water are a pillar of the Olympic movement.

Haier’s European HVAC Managing Director Bob Cowlard said: “We are proud and delighted to be sponsoring the 19th FINA World Championships Budapest 2022. Healthy living is at the heart of what we do at Haier and the FINA World Championships are no better way of highlighting our commitment to this. Haier is driven towards developing new technologies which focus on ensuring a professional, smart and healthy lifestyle – just as top-level athletes work relentlessly to commit their career to medal-winning goals.’’

“Swimming, artistic swimming, open water swimming and water polo are great ways for people to stay fit and healthy and the 19th FINA World Championships are the pinnacle for many athletes competing in these sports.”

Haier Air Conditioning branding will be seen extensively around the event, including on the pool flags, video wall, where two videos will be shown between events, and in co-branded items in the free-to-view fan zone in the city.

“The championships will be held at six different venues and we will be seen at all of them. It’s great to be involved with high performance sport and this sponsorship continues our support of Olympic sports with individual participation,” said Bob.

“Although the complete range of Haier HVAC products will be showcased, including the new air to water range (supporting a diving event is not too ironic) most of the promotional material and branding will be linked strongly to our new product, the Expert Room Air Conditioner, which offers fast installation and maintenance as well a number of healthy air features such as UVC Pro. This is all in line with the world of aquatic sports who also promote smart, professional and healthy living.”
