Haier HVAC Solutions appoints HVAC Specialist Melvyn Balmain as Sales Manager for France

Haier is please to announce the appointment of Melvyn Balmain as Sales Manager for French Speaking Territories, effective November 3rd, 2025. In this role, Melvyn will spearhead growth and expansion efforts, driving increased investment and fostering key partner relationships throughout the region. 

Melvyn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Haier. His impressive background includes a degree in sales and management. He began his HVAC career at "Clim+", France's leading specialist distributor, where he progressed from Junior Sales Representative and worked his way up to Sales Manager over the 10 years he was there. Subsequently, Melvyn transitioned to the manufacturing side, spending the next ten years with prominent companies like LG Air Conditioning, Panasonic, and Aldes. During this time, he successfully introduced new brands to the market, expanded teams, and significantly increased revenues. 

Melvyn’s deep understanding of the French market will be instrumental as we proactively engage with customers, cultivate strong relationships with installers and specifiers, and elevate brand awareness through strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This strategy will be supported by the development of new sales channels and the reinforcement of existing ones, further complementing our comprehensive portfolio of RAC, LCAC, Applied Solutions, and Heating products.
