HAIER CO-SPONSORS DUTCH CYCLING EVENT
We are thrilled to share that Haier Air Conditioning co-sponsored the Dutch Cycling Event in Netherlands. After a long break since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event took place with more than 12,000 cyclists who took part in the Vebego Limburgs Mooiste in the Netherlands.
WASCO supports the Vebego Limburgs Mooiste every year and invites all Haier installers to take part, with its start and finish location in Heerlen, and they too were delighted with the numbers taking part on road bike, mountain bike or watching the event from the side line. Haier HVAC Solutions encourages and supports events that are aligned to and emphasise Haier’s ethos of Zero Distance and healthy living.
“The Vebego Limburgs Mooiste was a tremendous success, and it was great to be back with cyclists and friends from all over the Netherlands. With its beautiful, green, and large cycling village, a return to the start and finish location near the nature reserve of Terworm on Coriopolis proved extremely popular with everyone – we will start and finish from Coriopolis next year."
Besides many spectators, the Vebego Limburgs Mooiste was attended by 125 customers, 25 representatives from suppliers and WASCO colleagues. The weekend event which took place in June followed a number of sign-posted routes through the Netherlands and Belgium covering distances up to 70 miles. This was the second time that Haier co-sponsored the event with WASCO.
Kars Mengerink, Haier HVAC Sales Engineer for Netherlands, and Belgium said: “The Vebego Limburgs Mooiste was a tremendous success, and it was great to be back with cyclists and friends from all over the Netherlands. With its beautiful, green, and large cycling village, a return to the start and finish location near the nature reserve of Terworm on Coriopolis proved extremely popular with everyone – we will start and finish from Coriopolis next year. The Limburgs Mooiste campsite nearby was fully booked and stallholders on the bicycle market were busy with customers. On top of it all we had a wonderful event afterwards with a DJ, great music and food and drink we had a wonderful time.”
