The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) in Germany has announced that all Haier VRF outdoor units are now included on its subsidy list for energy efficient heat pump installations. Customers who choose a Haier MRV heat pump system can claim a state subsidy of 35 per cent – and if an oil heater is replaced, the subsidy increases to 45 per cent. Costs include not only the price of the unit itself but also the installation, commissioning and disposal of the old system.

Art and design students in Spain have been invited to take part in a unique challenge by Haier HVAC Solutions to create a vinyl work of art for a panel on the new Pearl air conditioning range.

Eighty students are taking part in the competition which has attracted interest from the two leading design schools – the Official Center for Higher Studies Barreira A + D in Valencia and the ESNE University Center in Madrid.

Sixteen Haier MRV 5 air conditioning units have been installed at Prague’s main railway station – one of the most prestigious buildings in the capital of the Czech Republic. The largest and most important railway station in the country, the building is a significant monument to Art Nouveau in the Czech capital and also houses a host of shops and restaurants to cater for the demands of travellers. Dominating the station is the historic cupola viewed as one of Prague’s most famous landmarks.

Haier’s presence at the most important HVAC show in Spain has been a great success. The C&R show in Madrid held between the 16th and the 19th of November has attracted close 34 thousand visitors from all over Europe.

Visitors who came on to the Haier stand were warmly welcomed by the Haier staff as well as the clean and fresh design of the various spaces that were created.  The design of the stand enabled visitors to experience, touch and feel the Haier products in real life applications such as in an office, hotel room and living spaces.
