The UVC Pro is also fast acting and was tested to achieve 85.208% effectiveness in a room space of 6.7m3 in only four hours. 

How it works

UVC Pro is a technology that works in the UV ray spectre and, in particular, in two wavelengths:

• UVC rays that inhibit bacteria and virus present in the airflow that goes through the rays generated by the lamp.
• Vacuum UV rays that generate hydroxyl radicals that release into the environment improving the efficiency of airborne virus and bacteria inhibition.

Recent years have seen the rapid development of telecommunication and IoT technology. Smart appliances have become the new household trend where Haier has taken the lead. With smart functions, you can customise the services to your needs, by controlling your air conditioner from anywhere and anytime, and so much more.

The smart sensor detects the condition of air and people’s movement in real time, automatically adjusting the operating mode of the air conditioner to improve energy efficiency and optimise the users experience. With two built-in modules, the Eco sensor uses a double area detection with a maximum angle of 120 degrees and a distance of 8m. The sensor automatically detects the presence of people inside a room and adjusts the air flow by activating the “Follow” or “Avoid” mode according to your specific needs.

Thanks to the ECO Sensor, you will benefit from 

• Increased Comfort: If a high body temperature is detected, the fresh air flow is directed towards the person. If a low body temperature is detected, the air flow is diverted.
• Energy Saving: The Eco Sensor automatically detects the location and movements of people in the room. If the room is empty, the air conditioner activates the power saving mode within 20 minutes.

Thanks to the I Feel function, which allows the detection of the surrounding temperature with the remote controller no matter where you are in the room, the unit will optimise its operation based on the information.

Time to act on R290

R290 is emerging as a serious alternative to high GWP gases in the air conditioning and heat pump market, offering promising natural and non-toxic properties with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. 

In terms of performance, R290 is every way as good as R32.  The most important part of R290 is the significant environmental advantages through good energy performance and its GWP close to zero. Not only is R290 a suitable replacement for high GWP gases in air to air heat pumps but it has potential usage for air to water heat pumps too. 

In addition to its low environmental impact, R290 is highly energy efficient and can lead to reduced energy costs for businesses. Its excellent heat transfer properties, non-toxic properties, and compatibility with many existing refrigeration systems make it an attractive solution.

Not only being a well performing and green alternative solution, the R290 is also an economical solution. Indeed, due to the thermodynamic properties and its high performance, electricity consumption will be lower and we will see a direct reduction of electricity costs for our end-users.
