The new Mini R290 Series, available in 3kW and 5kW capacities, is designed to deliver high seasonal efficiency and reliable heating performance. Its optimised refrigerant charge reduces installation constraints, whilst the ultra-compact design allows for flexible integration with three types of heating modules.

Rated up to A+++ at 35°C and 55°C, the Mini Series features advanced condenser optimisation, precise electronic valve control and intelligent airflow management for stable and efficient operation. With a COP of up to 5.30 at A7W35, it ensures excellent energy performance and reduced operating costs.

The unit can modulate down to 778 Watts in mild conditions. This reduces cycling increasing reliability and comfort.

A leaving water temperature of 80°C can be maintained even when the outdoor ambient temperature is as low as -25°C.

The R290 Mini is an offering that is limited within the R290 Heat Pump market across Europe. Its small size, low refrigerant charge and low modulation mean it can offer real flexibility when it comes to installation scenarios including installation on balconies. 

Low Modulation

  • The R290 Mini can modulate down to 778 Watts in mild conditions. Hugely reducing cycling which is neither good for the heat pump nor good for the comfort level in the property. It’s built to operate in the conditions specifically to these markets where mid to low range performance is the key to comfort.

Low Turn Down & Lowe Refrigerant Charge

  • The R290 Mini is designed to run efficiently throughout the heating season. Refrigerant charge has been kept to a minimum to reduce the safety zone around the unit.

Compact Design

  • The design on the mini is suitable for a variety of installations including on apartment balconies. The width of the Mini is only 920mm. it can save up to 50% installation space of traditional heat pumps all whilst offering a capacity of 5kW.
