Haier HVAC Solutions team up with Hawco

In a new partnership, Haier HVAC Solutions has announced that Hawco Limited is the first of its new UK distributors. Hawco is a leading UK supplier to the HVACR industry and will sell the complete range of Haier air conditioning products.

Haier HVAC Solutions are a global leader in comfort cooling offering residential, commercial and applied air conditioning solutions. They include control systems, chillers, air and water treatment systems; VRF, light commercial and residential air conditioning systems.

Haier HVAC Solutions European General Manager Bob Cowlard said: “This agreement with Hawco is spearheading our return to the UK market. Hawco are a well-known and trusted distributor in the component, accessory and air conditioning fields. It’s great that they’ve recognised the value and technical excellence found in our ac products. Hawco Sales Director Phil Baker said: “As part of our plans to grow our air conditioning business we wanted to bring something new to the UK market. The more we learnt about Haier the more we liked.

“Outside the UK, Haier are a well-established brand with impressive growth in Spain, Germany, Italy and France, so we knew they had a winning formula. Great products, quality production, competitively priced – make them a perfect partner for us. But we also understand how important it is to fully support customers long-term, with the reassurance of a six-year warranty on all R32 single and multi-splits; and offer UK technical support and easy access to parts and spares.”

Sales will focus on the residential and commercial split ranges but full access to VRF and the air to water product ranges will also be available to Hawco. Recent results from Texcell testing showing how effective Haier’s UVC Generator can be in stopping the spread of Covid-19 airborne emissions adds an extra dimension to the agreement.  The UVC Generator is standard in the Pearl and Flexis wall-mounted ranges and will be introduced into the commercial splits later this year.
