Haier R290 Air-to-Water Heat Pump Range Launches with Solar Denmark
As demand for efficient and future-ready heating solutions continues to grow in Denmark, Haier HVAC Solutions is partnering with Solar Denmark to bring its latest R290 Air-to-Water heat pump portfolio to professional installers. Through this partnership, Solar will commercialise Haier's solutions in Denmark, combining Haier's expertise in heating technology with Solar's strong market presence and experience in climate and energy solutions.
Haier R290 portfolio: from residential to commercial applications

Haier R290 portfolio offers a comprehensive range of solutions designed to meet a wide variety of heating requirements, from residential homes to small commercial applications. In Denmark, Solar will commercialise Haier Monobloc, Hydro Split and All in One solutions, covering capacities from 6 to 16 kW.
The portfolio is further strengthened by two new additions from Haier that address specific market needs. The Mini, available in 3,5 and 5 kW, has been developed for homes where installation space is limited. As the smallest heat pump available on the Danish market, it provides a particularly compact solution for smaller properties and challenging installation environments.
At the other end of the portfolio, the Commercial Heat Pump brings Haier R290 technology to the small commercial sector. Developed for applications including offices, hotels, restaurants, gyms and small commercial buildings, it is available in 26, 30, 35 and 40 kW capacities, extending Haier's offering to applications with higher heating demands.
With this broad portfolio, Solar can offer professional installers access to Haier solutions across a wide range of heating requirements. The products are also backed by a full six-year warranty, further strengthening the overall proposition for installers.
A strategic partnership to support Danish installers
For Haier and Solar, the partnership is about more than making a new product range available in Denmark. It brings together Haier's heating technology and Solar's established expertise and infrastructure in the climate and energy sector, creating a strong proposition for professional installers in a growing market.
“We are pleased to announce our partnership between Solar and Haier combining our strengths and expertise to deliver greater value and support to our customers. As part of this partnership, Solar will provide comprehensive support across training, presales, technical assistance and after sales service. This will help ensure our teams have the knowledge and expertise required to confidently recommend, install and support Haier Solutions throughout the customer journey. We look forward to building a strong, long-term relationship with Solar and working together to provide our customers with the right solutions, backed by reliable technical and aftersales support.” said Chris Johnson, Head of Heating Northern Europe at Haier HVAC Solutions.
Starting this autumn, Danish installers will be able to register for dedicated Haier product training at Solar's facilities. The training will provide installers with the knowledge and expertise needed to work confidently with Haier's air-to-water heat pump solutions. Upon completion of the training, installers will be eligible for a six-year warranty on Haier air-to-water heat pumps. More information about the training and registration will be available through Solar.
Expanding Haier's presence in the Danish heating market
More Danish homeowners are investing in heat pumps as a future-proof and energy-efficient heating solution. Government subsidy schemes are helping to accelerate this development and create new business opportunities for installers.
"We have been looking for a strong and competitive alternative for professional installers in this highly competitive market. Therefore, we are very pleased to be able to offer Haier's renowned high quality exclusively to this segment," says Anders Christensen, Head of the Climate and Energy product category at the Solar Group.
The Haier Air-to-Water heat pump range has been successfully launched in connection with Solar's Climate & Energy Day on 3 September, marking the start of the partnership between Haier and Solar in Denmark.

Not every success is defined by standing on the summit. Our colleague, Tibor Juhász recently took on the challenge of climbing Mont Blanc via the Italian Pope Route as part of a self-organized expedition, without the support of a mountain guide. The ascent was anything but ordinary: a midnight summit push across glaciers, narrow exposed ridges, and technical rock sections, all under demanding alpine conditions.
