Haier sponsors swimmer aiming for Olympic glory

Haier HVAC Solutions Spain are sponsoring swimmer Nerea Ibáñez Hernández as she bids for a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The 200 metre freestyle swimmer is looking to qualify for the Spanish national team at this summer’s games.

A high ranking Spanish swimmer, it was her dedication, maturity and enormous professionality that persuaded Haier to support her during this important year in her career. Haier Aire’s Product Manager Liberto Sánchez said: “In the short time we have been collaborating with Nerea Ibáñez we have become her number one fans. Her capacity to get past her limits and lead Spanish women’s swimming has inspired us.”

Later in the month (March) Nerea Ibáñez from Sabadell in Catalonia is competing in the Spanish Swimming Championships to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics and the European Championships. She is also hoping to be part of the Spanish 4 x 200m relay team at the Olympics.
