Kataikko, new Finnish distributor joins growing network of Haier HVAC partners across Europe.

Haier HVAC Europe is delighted to welcome Kataikko, a prominent Finnish distributor of heat pumps, into its expanding network of partners across Europe. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our continued expansion into new markets.

Founded in 1995 by Paavo Kataikko, Kataikko has earned a solid reputation in its market and operates through multiple branches across the Nordic region. With a notable 7% share of the heat pump market, the agile Kataikko team is dedicated to advocating energy-efficient and sustainable solution, aiming to drive change for future generations.

Juuso Vahvelainen, our local Kataikko representative, said: “In a region still heavily reliant on gas boilers, we strongly believe in advocating for change. Developments in heat pump technology and low GWP refrigerants means that we can offer an alternative to traditional heating solutions.”

Kataikko has enthusiastically embraced the introduction of Haier by organising training sessions on the Haier portfolio. The inaugural two-day training event welcomed regional experts, over 30 customers and an additional 75 attendees via live stream.

“Gathering over 100 participants for our inaugural training session is a significant start. It demonstrates the interest and potential traction Haier HVAC can gain in this region.” added Juuso Vahvelainen.

Kataikko will offer a range of solutions from the Haier portfolio, including A2A and ATW products, leading with Haier’s Expert range tailored specifically for the Nordic climate. The Expert Nordic series offers consistent heating even at -30oc ambient temperature, with sizes ranging from 2.5kW to 3.5kW, boasting energy efficiencies of A+++/A+++. Packed with market-leading features such as hOn Wi-Fi for flexibility, New UVC Pro sterilization function to inhibit viruses like SARS CoV-2, and Eco Sensor for further savings, the units are designed with installer convenience in mind, ensuring easy installation and maintenance access.

In the forthcoming weeks and months, Kataikko will host further training sessions at their fully equipped facilities to support installers and enhance customer service. This collaboration signifies a promising future as we jointly grow and innovate.
