No product filters applied.The NXTGEN Festival took place in Papendal, Arnhem, Netherlands on May 12-13th 2023. Our long-term partner Wasco organised it from scratch in an empty field, and we were extremely proud to support them in this new and futuristic project.
NXTGEN was designed as a traditional Trade Fair but in a Festival Jacket: wandering around the different booths, the visitors were also able to enjoy music, various type of cuisines from the food trucks hired for the occasion, games to discover the technology of air conditioning in a fun and unique way and more! Not only installers and professionals of the sector were encouraged to come but also families, schools, and students. For this first edition, more than 5000 people showed up, including a solid 1000 students, interested in the HVAC universe and the technical approach behind the products.

Four low-noise Haier MRV S air conditioning units have been installed at a prestigious residential block where concerns about overheating on the upper floors were an issue. Delivering cooling for the top three floors of the building in Prague and keeping noise levels to a minimum was the challenge facing the installer Cooltop. By combining low-noise Haier MRV S commercial outdoor units with 47 wall-mounted Haier Flexis indoor units – and overcoming a difficult new build timescale – worries were eased.
The system was designed on behalf of Cooltop by Haier’s Prague-based distributor Sokra. Haier Easy MRV valve boxes were also fitted to the outdoor units to take care of any possible noise issues surrounding the expansion valves
Cooltop is a long-established customer of Haier HVAC in the Czech Republic. Marek and his team worked closely with the installer and the investors in the building project on a green field site to ensure that the design for the air conditioning system was right for the job. With other building work happening around the air conditioning installation, the installers had to be patient and it took almost a year to complete the job. The total cooling capacity for the Prague installation is 113kWs.

The BePositive Energy Transition Fair took place on the 21st - 23rd March in Lyon, France. The participation was a first for Split Distribution, supported by Haier HVAC Solutions Europe.
2023 marked the return of the show after facing the pandemic, with nearly 500 exhibitors and over 27,000 visitors, the level of interest at the show by all audiences was certainly paramount to the drive to seek more sustainable and energy efficient solutions.
Following a previous faulty installation, the restaurant needed a cooling and ventilation system for both the restaurant itself and the kitchens, particularly as summer approached. An operational system is essential in this type of building, as the temperature in the kitchens can reach up to 50°C in summer. Faced with this time pressure Bouygues turned to our distributor Inosens who stepped up with a fast-track Haier solution.
Haier MRV air to air heat pump systems are being installed in WASCO branches across the Netherlands.
The building services wholesaler has 36 shops in the country and is replacing old-fashioned gas boilers with Haier energy-saving heating and cooling systems. The 260 sqm WASCO branch in Haarlem is the latest to benefit from a Haier MRV installation with an MRV5-H Heat Pump VRF Continuous Heating (AV16NMVETA) outdoor unit and four 9kW 4-Way Cassette (AB302MNERA) indoor units fitted.

Haier has appointed Richard Sherlock as European Air to Water and Heat Pump Product Leader. Formerly employed by Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin, Richard has extensive experience of working in the heating and cooling sector and the past 15 years have been devoted to the heat pump market. He said: “I aim to put this knowledge and understanding to good use in a hands-on capacity on behalf of Haier across Europe. I have no doubt that these are exciting times for Haier HVAC and there are some big announcements to come
