Haier’s presence at the most important HVAC show in Spain has been a great success. The C&R show in Madrid held between the 16th and the 19th of November has attracted close 34 thousand visitors from all over Europe.

Visitors who came on to the Haier stand were warmly welcomed by the Haier staff as well as the clean and fresh design of the various spaces that were created.  The design of the stand enabled visitors to experience, touch and feel the Haier products in real life applications such as in an office, hotel room and living spaces.

The casual yet professional atmosphere attracted many new faces, and after a long period of not seeing people face to face it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with prospective partners, existing customers and Haier colleagues across Europe. 

Sixteen Haier MRV 5 air conditioning units have been installed at Prague’s main railway station – one of the most prestigious buildings in the capital of the Czech Republic. The largest and most important railway station in the country, the building is a significant monument to Art Nouveau in the Czech capital and also houses a host of shops and restaurants to cater for the demands of travellers. Dominating the station is the historic cupola viewed as one of Prague’s most famous landmarks.

Keeping visitors warm in the winter has been a challenge for station authorities in recent years as the old water-based heating system was no longer working efficiently and needed replacing. In the winter cold air coming in from the outside at the station entrances was having an effect on the comfort of passengers. Outdoor temperatures would regularly drop as low as -8°C during the colder months.

Art and design students in Spain have been invited to take part in a unique challenge by Haier HVAC Solutions to create a vinyl work of art for a panel on the new Pearl air conditioning range.

Eighty students are taking part in the competition which has attracted interest from the two leading design schools – the Official Center for Higher Studies Barreira A + D in Valencia and the ESNE University Center in Madrid.

The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) in Germany has announced that all Haier VRF outdoor units are now included on its subsidy list for energy efficient heat pump installations. Customers who choose a Haier MRV heat pump system can claim a state subsidy of 35 per cent – and if an oil heater is replaced, the subsidy increases to 45 per cent. Costs include not only the price of the unit itself but also the installation, commissioning and disposal of the old system.

QINGDAO, Mar.19, 2021- Haier Air Conditioning announced that Texcell S.A. (*1), the global research organisation, has confirmed that Haier UVC GENERATOR inactivates 99.998% of Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) within their sealed test facilities. The test target was to assess the effects of UVC GENERATOR in inhibiting novel coronavirus instead of the performance of air conditioner unit with UVC GENERATOR.  

In November 2020, Haier Air Conditioning initiated an official cooperation with Texcell S.A. to conduct tests on the Haier UVC GENERATOR that is utilised in the Haier range of Air conditioners. The tests were conducted at Texcell’s professional laboratory located in Paris. The test was conducted in a 45L enclosed box in laboratory conditions, where the Haier UVC GENERATOR effectively inhibited SARS-CoV-2, with an efficiency up to 99.998% in 1 hour.
