At Haier, we are excited to announce that our Spanish Division was present at Construmat 2024, held in Barcelona, on May 21st, 22nd and 23rd. This fair, recognized as one of the most relevant in the prescription sector, gave us the opportunity to present our latest innovations and strengthen our presence in the global market.

During the fair, Haier presented a complete and innovative range of products that reflect our commitment to connectivity, efficiency and technology. Among our most notable launches, we highlight the entire R290 range and Haier-Nahui's renewable technologies, thus forming a comprehensive solution for your home, providing air conditioning and DHW connected with a high-efficiency photovoltaic system.

Our stand was one of the most visited at the fair, attracting hundreds of visitors interested in learning more about our proposals in their sector. We perform live presentations and product demonstrations. In addition, we had the opportunity to get closer to professionals in our sector, who showed great interest in the brand and its innovations.

The successful participation in Construmat 2024 reaffirms our position as key players in the Spanish HVAC industry. With our new proposals and our firm commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, we are prepared to continue leading the way towards a more innovative and sustainable future.

Haier HVAC Solution Iberia, a leading player in the HVAC sector, has successfully concluded two prescription events held recently in Seville and Benidorm. 

Haier HVAC Europe is delighted to welcome Kataikko, a prominent Finnish distributor of heat pumps, into its expanding network of partners across Europe. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our continued expansion into new markets.

Founded in 1995 by Paavo Kataikko, Kataikko has earned a solid reputation in its market and operates through multiple branches across the Nordic region. With a notable 7% share of the heat pump market, the agile Kataikko team is dedicated to advocating energy-efficient and sustainable solution, aiming to drive change for future generations.

Kataikko has enthusiastically embraced the introduction of Haier by organising training sessions on the Haier portfolio. The inaugural two-day training event welcomed regional experts, over 30 customers and an additional 75 attendees via live stream.

“Gathering over 100 participants for our inaugural training session is a significant start. It demonstrates the interest and potential traction Haier HVAC can gain in this region.” added Juuso Vahvelainen.

Kataikko will offer a range of solutions from the Haier portfolio, including A2A and ATW products, leading with Haier’s Expert range tailored specifically for the Nordic climate. The Expert Nordic series offers consistent heating even at -30oc ambient temperature, with sizes ranging from 2.5kW to 3.5kW, boasting energy efficiencies of A+++/A+++. Packed with market-leading features such as hOn Wi-Fi for flexibility, New UVC Pro sterilization function to inhibit viruses like SARS CoV-2, and Eco Sensor for further savings, the units are designed with installer convenience in mind, ensuring easy installation and maintenance access.

In the forthcoming weeks and months, Kataikko will host further training sessions at their fully equipped facilities to support installers and enhance customer service. This collaboration signifies a promising future as we jointly grow and innovate. On the 12th March, Haier Air Conditioning was appointed as the No.1 brand globally in three categories by Euromonitor International, the world's leading independent provider of strategic market research.

2023 data released by Euromonitor confirmed that Haier is the number one brand of connected air conditioners (including smart air conditioners) in the world as well as number one brand of Healthy Self-Clean air conditioners in the world, measured in terms of retail sales volume. Haier has also been awarded the number one Chinese corporation under own-brand of air conditioners by volume sales in the global market (excluding mainland China) in 2023.

Haier Smart Home continues to achieve new global recognition from users through its three-tier brand strategy and digital transformation. On January 8th, according to the authoritative research firm Euromonitor International, data showed that in 2023, Haier ranked first globally in retail sales of large household appliances. This marks Haier's 15th consecutive time leading globally!
